Day 2 : 30 Day Music Blog Challenge

music-1

I am done with my LDR challenge and I tried to look for another challenge this month. I am music lover and I will enjoy this game.

CHALLENGE :

There are 30 challenges (questions) and of course I need to answer it and explain why I choose that song. The favorite lyrics of the song.

Day 2 : A SONG FROM YOUR EARLY CHILDHOOD

Answer:

CLOSE TO YOU – Carpenters

I was born in 80’s era. My Aunt she loved collecting cassette tapes of her favorite bands and singers. I remember she had Air Supply, Carpenters and The Abba. She always playing that song every Sunday. I love the oldies songs because it’s more meaningful. I watched the movie “Grease” I love the song of Olivia Newton-John “Hopelessly Devoted to you”. There are times that on Sunday I turn on the radio and listen to these songs because it’s relaxing.

FAVE LINE :

I don’t have a fave line I love the song. I will copy the lyrics of the song.

CLOSE TO YOU – Carpenters

Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

Why do stars fall down from the sky
Every time you walk by?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

On the day that you were born the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair
And golden starlight in your eyes of blue

That is why all the girls in town
(Girls in town)
Follow you
(Follow you)
All around
(All around)
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

On the day that you were born the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair
Of gold and starlight in your eyes of blue

That is why all the girls in town
(Girls in town)
Follow you
(Follow you)
All around
(All around)
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you

(Why? Close to you)
(Why? Close to you)
(Haa, close to you)
(Why? Close to you)
