A Year of US

 

Yes, time flies so fast and it’s 2016. Goodbye Year of the Sheep and Hello Year of the Monkey. Next month, Nigel and I will celebrate our anniversary.Wohoo!!! Fantastic baby!!! We are both happy that we are still together and lasting longer for this year and the year ahead. So,let’s go back last year, February 13 I met an English guy on Tagged and got interested on him first so I added him up. To my surprise, he confirmed the request. We talked and talked for the whole day. Honestly, we didn’t have this courtship time we just decided to be together on the 14th. I know it’s too fast like really fast . On our first months, that’s our getting to know each other stage and that’s the time that we realize that we are opposite. I asked him that I will blog about our Long Distance Relationship story and at first he was hesitant about but I convinced him. We just go with the flow with our relationship and we never thought that we will  love each other much and be serious with each other. I know that he is serious about me when he said that he will visit me here but I thought that he is just joking but it was real. Months have past and we are now planning on his first visit here. That’s it and now we have this relationship challenge in LDRBN and Nigel and I decided to do it. It took a long time to do it because he was busy at work,sometimes we have another plan and signal is not good .Since I commit to it I asked him to find time for our “US” time.  We plan to have a questions and answer time together on Skype and Viber . I wanted to answer almost all of the questions but Nigel told me to pick five questions. Last Sunday, we had “US” time. On this post I will post the top five questions we answered.

1. WHERE DO YOU SEE US BY THE END OF THE YEAR?

NIGEL : I don’t know where I see us by the end of the year but I know we will still be together.

DEE : I can see that we are still together and our relationship is more stronger.

      2. DESCRIBE THE PREVIOUS YEAR IN 3 WORDS.

NIGEL : It’s challenging , enjoyable but I can’t think of the 3rd. hahaha 😛

DEE :  It’s inspiring, full of love and crazy feelings.

       3. ONE THING YOU’D LIKE TO TRY.

NIGEL : Hmmm.. anything when I am there.

DEE : To shave your beard. hahaha 😛 I know that you don’t like others to do it so if you are lazy to shave I am here to do it for you.

    ( This part he kept on turning his head from side to side and saying “NO” in a loud tone of voice )

        4. BEST THING YOU DID FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

NIGEL : Honestly speaking, being part of your life. ( Looking at me and flashing his rare smile )

DEE: You’re so cheesy. hahaha. For me, the best thing that I did for you is being a better partner. ( I am cheesy,too 😛 )

        5. WHAT DATE NIGHTS WOULD YOU LOVE TO TRY TOGETHER?

NIGEL : Movie night, Sunset walking along the beach.

DEE : I really want stargazing and camp fire on the beach.

I never ever thought that he is a romantic person. He always denies it. I am happy with this challenge because I can get to see and know his romantic side and getting out of his comfort zone. I am satisfied with the questions but too bad I wanted to answer more. This is exciting for a date night for couples that  are close distance and long distance. I recommend it and you should try it.
